After the events of Traitors from the Inside Out, and the very worrying cliffhanger it left readers with, Traitors Unleashed starts with a scene more worrying still, for one, got to wonder whatever had happened to some dearly beloved characters.

It was a surprise to see Martina, in the aftermath of a tragedy, with the weight of the world on her shoulders and the very effects of everything she went through.

In my opinion, the characters really evolved in this book, the situation really reaches a breaking point in which each side has to enter the open war.

An excellent second part to a gripping series.

I loved Traitors Unleashed, poor Martina doesn’t seem to be able to catch a break but you’re rooting for her through the whole story. If you were dying to know what came after Traitors from the Inside Out you won’t be disappointed in Traitors Unleashed,

Without giving it all away, I wanted to reach in and become a part of the mission Martina and her friends are on because you see so many injustices happening and the characters have so many of their own personal struggles you can’t help but feel a connection to them and want to fight back against the pure evil you will feel from our antagonists.

The second book in the Traitors Trilogy was amazing, just like the first one! Full of tension and conflict, the stakes have risen as the fight between Martina, her company, and the evil Citaraph go head to head.

The plot is action-filled, and every chapter is exciting to read. The characters are developed even more, and the plot between the two books connects and flows well. If you plan to start this trilogy, I would definitely recommend starting this book almost immediately after finishing the first one because it starts right after the last chapter of the first book.

Martina is still one of my favorite protagonists. I love how she stands up for herself and her beliefs. She doesn’t let anyone get in her way and is willing to take matters into her own hands when things don’t go how she wants them to. I’m on her side all of the ways!

I definitely plan to read the third book in order to finish the trilogy and finally find out what happens to Martina!

This series just keeps getting better. If you think you’ve got it all figured out in the first book, then this sequel will absolutely catch you by surprise. I just love how the medical conspiracy plays out in this trilogy. The horrific reality makes my skin crawl and sort of challenges my already thinning faith in humanity. History has been witness to how cruel and sinister mankind can be, and this novel stretches it out even more in a scintillating and thought-provoking manner.

Martina’s character development shone through in this novel. The traitors and the subsequent betrayals shook her but shaped her at the same time. She may have appeared strong and independent but at her core, she’s as much human as the rest of us, vulnerable and sentimental. But it wasn’t just Martina whose growth took center stage. Every other character shed light on different facets of humanity, serving both as an inspiration and a lesson in a world riddled with a grim reality of treachery and subterfuge.

Definitely looking forward to the gripping conclusion to this trilogy!
